My Work

Having worked in clay for more than 20 years, my style has evolved however one thing that has stayed consistent is function. My work is functional and form is a constant focus. I work in many different clay bodies — from California’s rare black clay to Jack Troy porcelain. And as I fire in wood, salt, and reduction, I prefer to glaze minimally and allow the firing process to showcase the beauty of the clay.
